Review: Kanton Men at Ramen 38 Sanpachi

Karena aku kurang suka makanan pedas, maka aku minta direkomendasikan menu ramen yang tidak pedas kepada pramusaji di Ramen 38 Sanpachi, Kamome, Jakarta Selatan. Selain Shiro Ramen, sang pramusaji merekomendasikan Kanton Men ini. Tampaknya, manajemen restoran ramen ini memberi pelatihan yang baik bagi karyawannya. Karena pramusaji mereka dapat menjelaskan pertanyaan-pertanyaan awamku dengan baik.

Seperti biasa, pelanggan diberi kebebasan untuk memilih mau mi keriting atau lurus, serta dimasak matang atau setengah matang. Pada pandangan pertama, menu ini sekilas kelihatan seperti cap cay. Dengan kuah cap cay kental dibagian atas, namun di bagian bawah, kuahnya berupa kaldu kental khas ramen. Sayurannya tampak cantik dan terasa renyah. Kalau tidak salah ingat, menu ini dihargai 52.000 rupiah, sebelum pajak.

Since I do not really like spicy food, I asked recommendation from the service person at Ramen 38 Sanpachi, Kamome, Jakarta. Besides Shiro Ramen, she recommended this Kanton Men. It looks like they were good trained, because their service persons can answer my stupid questions about their menus.

As usual, guests can freely choose straight or curly noodle, well-cooked or half-cooked noodles. At the first sight, this menu seems like cap cay. But actually, it is a sort of ramen with thick stock soup topped with cap cay. The vegetables looked beautiful amd tasted crunchy. If I am not mistaken, it was priced IDR 52.000 before tax.
