Bakmi Jawa — Javanese Style Noodles Stall

Bakmi Jawa, or Javanese style noodles have their own character. We can easily identify them to other styles of noodles. But, to be honest, I still cannot identify which Javanese style noodles stall sells the most delicious ones. I think, they all the same in taste. Even differs in price. I always order rice vermicelli soup, whenever dining at Javanese style noodles stalls. I don’t really like noodles soup, except mi ayam, or noodles soup with chicken. And I prefer Surabaya style fried noodle and Chinese style fried noodle.

Tonight, I got a chance to enjoy dinner at a Javanese style noodles stall, near a traditional market of Stan, in Sleman, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. They sell a large portion of rice vermicelli soup and a glass of warm orange squeeze for IDR 9,000.
