A Bilingual Post for Quickies Noodle Challenge

Aku sengaja menulis ulang resep Bihun Asam Pedas ini untuk berpartisipasi dalam Quickies Noodle Challenge, yang diadakan oleh Denise dan Lazaro.

I’m re-writting this recipe of Hot & Sour Rice Vermicelli to participate on Quickies Noodle Challenge, held by Denise and Lazaro.

Bahan-bahannya:
1 butir bawang putih, haluskan
1 butir bawang merah, haluskan
2 buah cabe merah, haluskan
1 sendok makan minyak goreng
1 gelas air
2 buah tahu, potong dadu
setengah sendok teh jahe bubuk
setengah sendok teh garam
setengah sendok teh lada putih bubuk
setengah sendok teh gula pasir
50 gram bihun kering, rendam dalam air panas hingga lunak, tiriskan
1 sendok makan saus tiram
setengah jeruk nipis, ambil airnya
3 lembar daun sawi hijau, iris
1 sendok makan daun bawang, cincang
1 sendok makan bawang goreng

Cara membuatnya:
1. Panaskan minyak goreng dengan api sedang.
2. Tumis bawang putih, bawang merah dan cabe merah hingga harum.
3. Tambahkan air. Tunggu mendidih.
4. Tambahkan tahu dan bihun. Masak hingga lunak.
5. Tambahkan garam, lada putih bubuk, gula pasir dan saus tiram.
6. Tambahkan sawi hijau dan daun bawang. Biarkan mendidih lagi. Angkat. Sajikan dengan taburan bawang goreng.

The ingredients:
a piece of garlic, crushed
a piece of shallot, crushed
2 pieces of red chili pepper, crushed
a table spoon oil
a cup of water
2 pieces of white Indonesian tofu, diced
a half tea spoon ginger powder
a half tea spoon salt
a half tea spoon white pepper powder
a half tea spoon sugar
50 grams dried rice vermicelli, soaked in hot water then strain
a table spoon oyster sauce
a half lime, squeezed
3 pieces green chinese cabbage, cut
a table spoon spring onion
, chopped
a table spoon fried shallot

The directions:
1. Medium-low heat oil.
2. Sauté garlic, shallot and red chili pepper until the aroma comes out.
3. Add water. Bring to boil.
4. Add tahu and rice vermicelli. Cook until they turn tender.
5. Add salt, white pepper powder, sugar and oyster sauce.
6. Add green chinese cabbage and spring onion. Bring to boil again. Remove. Serve with sprinkles of fried shallot.
