Malam itu, di tengah gejolak gunung Merapi, aku dan Mamaku sempat menikmati coklat hangat bersama. Aku, sambil saling berkirim pesan dengan suamiku, yang berada sejauh 600 kilometer. Mama, sambil mengerjakan beberapa tugas pendataannya.

That night, in the middle of mount Merapi‘s activity, I got a chance to enjoy some hot chocolate with my beloved Mama. Me, while texting my beloved hubby, about 400 miles away from my Mama’s home. Mama, while doing some paper works.

Sebenarnya, Mama lebih suka kopi. Jadi, aku menambahkan kopi ke dalam coklat hangat untuk kami. Aku juga mena
mbahkan sedikit sentuhan berbeda, yaitu pepermin.

Mama likes coffee, actually. So, I added some coffee into our hot chocolates. I added peppermint also, as another touch.

Bahan-bahannya:
4 sendok teh daun peppermin kering
400 mililiter air mendidih
2 sendok teh kopi instan
4 sendok teh susu kental manis
2 sendok teh coklat bubuk

Cara membuatnya:
1. Seduh daun pepermin dalam air mendidih selama 3 menit. Saring.
2. Tambahkan kopi instan, susu kental manis, dan coklat bubuk. Aduk rata. Tuangkan ke dalam cangkir. Sajikan.

The ingredients:
4 tea spoons dried peppermint leaves
400 milliliters freshly boiled water
2 tea spoons instant coffee
4 tea spoons white condensed milk
2 tea spoons cocoa powder

The directions:
1. Brew peppermint leaves in freshly boiled water for 3 minutes. Strain.
2. Add instant coffee, condensed milk and cocoa powder. Stir well. Pour into mugs. Serve.
