Grilled Tempeh

Ini adalah menu makan siangku beberapa hari lalu; nasi merah, tempe bakar, ayam asam pedas dan lassi pepaya.

This my lunch, a few days ago; steamed brown rice, grilled tempeh, hot & sour chicken and papaya lassi.

Bahan-bahannya:
6 potong tempe
2 sendok minyak goreng
4 sendok kecap manis
2 siung bawang putih, haluskan
2 buah bawang merah, haluskan
2 buah cabe merah, haluskan
sejumput lada putih bubuk

Cara membuatnya:
1. Campur rata kecap, bawang putih, bawang merah, cabe merah dan lada putih bubuk.
2. Panaskan minyak goreng dengan api sedang.
3. Goreng tempe selama masing-masing 2 menit di kedua sisi.
4. Oleskan campuran kecap di satu sisi dan masak selama 1 menit. Lakukan yang sama di sisi lainnya. Angkat. Sajikan.

The ingredients:
6 portions of tempeh
2 table spoons oil
2 table spoons kecap manis
2 pieces garlic, crushed
2 pieces shallot, crushed
2 pieces red chili pepper, crushed
a pinch of white pepper powder

The directions:
1. Mix well kecap manis, garlic, shallot, red chili pepper and white pepper powder.
2. Medium-low heat oil.
3. Grill tempeh for 2 minutes, each side.
4. Spread kecap manis mix upon each side of tempeh and grill each side for 1 minute. Remove. Serve.
