Old Skirts & Tofu Mushroom Omelette

Sebelum menikah dan tinggal bersama suamiku tercinta di Tangerang, aku tinggal bersama Mamaku di rumahnya, di Sleman. Waktu pindah, aku memang tak membawa banyak barang. Pakaian pun hanya beberapa potong. Rencananya, aku mau merapikan barang-barangku yang masih ada di rumah Mama.

Before get married and live with my beloved hubby in Tangerang, Banten, Indonesia, I lived with my Mama in her house, in Sleman, DIY, Indonesia. When I moved, I didn’t bring a lot of stuff. I’m intending to re-organizing my stuffs.

Rok rajut selutut warna putih dan biru. Sepertinya belum pernah kupakai, karena membentuk tubuhku.

Knit skirt, knee length. White and blue. I don’t think I ever wear it. Don’t really like it for it’s shaping my lower body.

Rok rajut warna abu-abu. Pemberian dari Tanteku yang nggak sadar kalau waktu itu umurku baru awal 20-an. Belum pernah kupakai, masih ada label harganya. Jika aku diberi uangnya saja, cukup untuk beli blazer tuh!

Knitted skirt grey. It was given by my aunt who was forgotten that I was still early 20’s. You can see the price tag is still there. If she gave me the money, I could buy a cute blazer.

Waktu hamil, berat badanku naik hingga 15 kilogram. Dan setelah melahirkan, masih tersisa kelebihan 7 kilogram. Banyak pakaianku yang sudah tak muat lagi. Makanya aku berniat menjual pakaian-pakaian lamaku melalui Berta, teman baikku.

When I was pregnant, I gain 15 kilograms, and now, after childbirth, I still have 7 kilos. So, most of my outfits don’t fit anymore. That’s why I want to sell them through Berta, a good friend of mine.

Omlet ini paling cocok dinikmati saat sarapan pagi bersama secangkir teh hijau hangat.

Bahan-bahannya:
1 butir telur, kocok
2 buah tahu putih, hancurkan dengan garpu
segenggam jamur kancing iris
3 sendok makan susu cair tawar
seperempat bawang bombay, cincang
sebatang bawang daun, iris tipis
sedikit garam
sedikit lada putih bubuk
1 sendok makan margarin

Cara membuatnya:
1. Campurkan telur, tahu, jamur, susu serta garam dan lada putih bubuk
2. Panaskan margarin dengan api sedang
3. Buat dadar
4. Sajikan dengan sambal kecap atau saus asam pedas.

This omelette of tofu and champignon is great to be enjoyed at breakfast, with a cup of hot green tea.

The ingredients:
1 egg, beaten
2 pieces white tofu, mashed using fork
a handful champignon, chopped
3 table spoons plain milk
a quarter onion, chopped
a piece spring onion, chopped
a pinch of salt
a pinch of white pepper powder
1 table spoon margarine

The directions:
1. Mix egg, tofu, champignon, milk, also salt and white pepper powder
2. Medium-low heat margarine
3. Make omelette
4. Serve with sambal kecap or saus asam pedas.
