Perkedel Wortel

Penampilannya tampak seperti perkedel biasa. Rasanya pun sekilas tidak berbeda. Namun, siapa sangka jika perkedel ini merupakan campuran kentang dan wortel?

Kupas dan cuci bersih 2 buah kentang ukuran sedang. Potong dadu, lalu goreng dalam banyak minyak panas hingga empuk. Angkat. Tiriskan. Haluskan dengan menggunakan garpu.

Tambahkan 1 buah wortel yang sudah dikupas dan dicuci bersih lalu diparut, daun bawang yang diiris tipis, serta sedikit garam dan lada hitam tumbuk. Aduk hingga tercampur rata.

Ambil campuran kentang dan wortel sebanyak satu sendok makan. Bentuk bundar dan padatkan.

Celupkan perkedel ke dalam 1 butir telur kocok, lalu goreng dalam banyak minyak dengan api sedang hingga kecoklatan. Angkat. Sajikan dengan saus tomat dan saus sambal atau saus asam pedas.

Its appearence and taste are slightly like ordinary potato cutlet. But who guessed that these potato cutlets were made of potato and carrot?

Peel and wash 2 medium sized potatoes. Cut into dices, then deep fried them until tender enough. Take it out of the heat. Strain. Mash using fork.

Add 1 carrot, washed, peeled and shredded, also spring spring onion, a pinch of salt and black pepper ground. Mix well.

Take the mix using a table spoon. Make it into coin shape and make it firm.

Dip each potato cutlet into a beaten egg, then deep fry them until they turn golden brown. Take it out of the heat. Serve with tomato ketchup and chili sauce or saus asam pedas.
