Roti Goreng Coklat

Karena sedang menyusui Bebi Vendra Galeny, aku jadi sering kelaparan. Ya, ternyata menyusui lebih lapar daripada hamil. Sebagai persiapan menghadapi rasa lapar yang kerap datang, aku membuat cemilan praktis tapi enak.

Campur dalam mangkuk kaca, 250 gram tepung terigu, 2 sendok makan susu bubuk, 1 sendok makan madu, setengah sendok teh garam dan 1 sendok teh ragi instan. Aduk hingga tercampur rata.

Tambahkan 1 butir telur dan 2 sendok makan mentega. Uleni dengan tangan hingga kalis. Tutup dengan serbet basah. Diamkan selama 30-50 menit agar ragi bekerja, sehingga adonan mengembang.

Setelah adonan mengembang, kempeskan dengan cara menekannya dengan tangan, kemudian bagi adonan, masing-masing sebesar bola pingpong.

Pipihkan masing-masing adonan, kemudian letakkan coklat pekat yang dipotong dadu ukuran 1 centimeter. Tutup lalu bulatkan lagi, sehingga posisi potongan coklat di bagian tengah adonan.

Goreng adonan yang sudah diisi coklat dalam banyak minyak dengan api sedang hingga matang. Angkat. Tiriskan. Sajikan dengan taburan keju parut atau taburan gula halus. Polosan juga enak.

Simpan juga roti coklat siap goreng di freezer. Goreng dan nikmati kapanpun menginginkannya.

Since I’m nursing Bebi Vendra Galeny, I’m hungry all the time. Yeah, nursing mom is more often hungry than pregnant woman. To anticipate it, I make a convenient yet delicious snack for myself.

Mix well in a glass bowl 250 grams wheat flour, 2 table spoons plain milk powder, 1 table spoon honey, a half tea spoon salt, and 1 tea spoon instant yeast.

Add 1 egg and 2 table spoons butter. Mix well, using your hands. Cover the bowl with moisten napkin. Wait for about 30-50 minutes, so the instant yeast would works it out.

After the bread dough is fermented, press it using your hands. Then divide it into balls, approximately the measure of ping pong ball.

Press each ball, then put dark chocolate compound, cut into dices 1 centimeter. Make it to be ball again so the chocolate cube is right on the center of the ball.

Deep fry the bread balls with low heat. When it turns golden brown, take it out of the heat. Strain. Serve with sprinkles of shredded cheddar cheese or sugar powder, or even let it be plain. Anything you like.

Store the chocolate bread dough in freezer. Fry and enjoy them whenever you like it.
