Bihun Asam Pedas

Cuaca sore nan gerimis, paling enak santai-santai di rumah sambil menghangatkan tubuh. Menu yang satu ini bukan cuma menghangatkan tubuh, tapi juga mengenyangkan perut.

Haluskan 1 siung bawang putih, 1 buah bawang merah, 2 buah cabe merah. Tumis bumbu halus tersebut dengan 1 sendok makan minyak goreng hingga harum. Tambahkan 1 gelas air, 2 buah tahu yang sudah dipotong-potong serta sedikit jahe bubuk, garam dan lada.

Setelah mendidih, masukkan bihun, 1 sendok makan saus tiram dan perasan setengah buah jeruk nipis. Tunggu sampai semua bahan lunak, masukkan sawi hijau yang sudah dipotong-potong. Aduk-aduk sebentar, lalu angkat. Sajikan dengan taburan bawang daun cincang dan bawang goreng.

This clear soup of rice vermicelli gives warm yet refreshing taste for its sour and spicy flavour. Just replace the oyster sauce with mushroom sauce, then it will be edible for vegans.

Crush 1 piece garlic, 1 piece shallot and 2 pieces red chili pepper. Low heat 1 table spoon oil, then sauté those crushed spices until the aroma comes out.

Pour 1 cup water, add 2 pieces tofu cut into cubes, also a pinch of ginger powder, salt and pepper.

Bring to boil, then add rice vermicelli, juice of a half piece lime and 1 table spoon oyster sauce. Wait until everything turns tender, then add green chinese cabbage cut. Stir a moment, then take out of the heat. Serve with sprinkles of chopped spring onion and fried shallot.
