Spagetempe

Kemarin, aku merealisasikan ideku untuk membuat spageti dengan saus yang Indonesia banget. Hasilnya adalah rasa yang unik, meskipun agak terlalu pedas.

Bahan-bahannya:
75 gram spageti, rebus hingga aldente bersama 1 sendok makan minyak goreng lalu tiriskan
segenggam tempe dipotong dadu ukuran 1 centimeter, goreng sebentar
1 siung bawang putih
2 buah bawang merah
2 buah cabe merah
1 buah kemiri
1 lembar daun jeruk purut
2 sendok saus tomat
2 sendok makan minyak goreng untuk menumis
30 mililiter air
sedikit garam
sedikit lada putih
sedikit gula pasir
sedikit bawang goreng

Cara membuatnya:
1. Haluskan bawang putih, bawang merah, cabe merah dan kemiri.
2. Panaskan minyak dengan api sedang. Tumis bumbu halus serta daun jeruk purut hingga harum.
3. Tambahkan air dan saus tomat. Aduk rata.
4. Tambahkan tempe goreng, garam, lada putih bubuk dan gula pasir. Aduk rata. Diamkan 1-2 menit hingga cairannya agak menyusut. Angkat. Siramkan di atas spageti rebus.
5. Sajikan dengan taburan bawang goreng.

Yesterday, I made my idea of cooking spaghetti with Indonesian style sauce come true. Resulting a unique taste, a bit too spicy though.

The ingredients:
75 gram spaghetti, boiled until aldente with 1 table spoon oil then strain
a handful tempeh cut into dices 1 centimeter, deep fried a minute or two then strain
1 piece garlic
2 pieces shallot
2 pieces red chili pepper
1 piece candlenut
1 piece kaffir lime leaf
2 table spoons tomato ketchup
2 table spoons oil for sautéing
30 mililiters water
a pinch of salt
a pinch of white pepper powder
a pinch of sugar
a pinch of fried shallot

The directions:
1. Crush garlic, shallot, red chili pepper, and candlenut.
2. Medium low heat oil. Sauté crushed spices and kaffir lime leaf.
3. Add water and tomato ketchup. Stir well.
4. Add fried tempeh dices, salt, white pepper powder, and sugar. Stir well. Wait for a minute or two until the liquid a bit reduced. Remove. Pour over spaghetti.
5. Serve with sprinkles of fried shallot.
