Puding Coklat Vla Rum

Puding coklat dengan siraman Baileys adalah salah satu pencuci mulut favoritku. Tapi, karena saat ini sedang hamil, aku membuat resep alternatifnya.

Masak dengan api kecil 1 sendok makan tepung agar-agar bening, 1 gelas air, 1 gelas susu cair tawar rendah lemak, 2 sendok makan coklat bubuk dan 2 sendok makan gula pasir. Aduk-aduk agar tidak muncul gumpalan. Setelah mendidih, angkat dan aduk-aduk hingga uap panas berkurang. Tuang ke dalam cetakan.

Sambil menunggu puding mengeras, buat saus vla. Masak dengan api kecil, 1 gelas susu cair tawar, 1 sendok makan gula pasir dan 1 sendok makan tepung maizena. Aduk-aduk agar tidak muncul gumpalan. Setelah mendidih, tambahkan 2 sendok teh sirup rum. Aduk-aduk sebentar, lalu angkat dan dinginkan.

Supaya rasanya lebih segar, puding dan vla didinginkan di lemari es.

Chocolate pudding poured with Baileys is one of my favourite desserts. But since I’m pregnant now, so I make the alternative recipe. Vegans can replace the milk with plain soy milk.

Simmer in a saucepan, 1 table spoon plain agar-agar powder, 1 cup water, 1 cup plain low fat milk, 2 table spoons cocoa powder and 2 table spoons sugar. Stir continuously to avoid curds. After it simmers, take out from the heat. Stir until the hot vapor disappears. Pour into a mould.

While waiting for the chocolate pudding to harden, let’s make the sauce. Simmer in a saucepan, 1 cup plain low fat milk, 1 table spoon sugar and 1 table spoon cornstarch. Stir continuously to avoid curds. After it simmer, add 2 tea spoons rum syrup. Stir again for a minute, then take out from the heat.

To get a real refreshing dessert,chill the pudding and the sauce before serving.
