Kangkung Tumis

Kangkung tumis adalah salah satu masakan favoritku. Dinikmati bersama nasi putih pulen yang mengepul plus tempe goreng yang agak garing. Wah, bisa nambah terus deh. Cara memasaknya juga mudah kok.

Potong-potong 1 ikat kangkung yang sudah dicuci bersih. Panaskan 1 sendok makan minyak goreng. Tumis 2 siung bawang putih cincang, setengah bawang bombay cincang dan 4 buah cabe merah yang sudah diiris-iris hingga harum.

Masukkan kangkung, tambahkan 2 sendok makan saus tiram, sedikit garam dan merica, aduk-aduk hingga tercampur rata. Diamkan 1 menit, lalu angkat dan sajikan dengan taburan bawang goreng.

Kangkung is one of Asia’s famous vegetable. It’s a good source of iron. Kangkung stir fry is one of my favourite vegetable dish. I love enjoying it with freshly steamed rice and fried tempe. It’s easy to cook though. Just remove the oyster sauce, then it will be a delicious vegan food.

Cut washed kangkung. Medium heat 1 table spoon of oil. Sauté 2 chopped garlic, a half chopped onion and 4 red chili pepper until the aroma comes out.

Add the chopped kangkung, 2 table spoons oyster sauce and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir until mixed well. Wait 1 minute, then take out of the heat and serve with sprinkles of fried shallot.
